What Is Excelso Coffee?
Excelso is a Colombian coffee grading standard describing beans sorted to a screen size of 15–16—slightly smaller than Supremo but celebrated for their balanced, consistent, and nuanced flavour.
Expect rich chocolate, fruity, or bright citrus notes depending on origin.
Our Excelso beans are grown organically by the Seynekun Indigenous families in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, producing exceptionally clean, high‑quality coffee with SCA scores around 84+.
To ensure true farm‑to‑cup sustainability, we transport our beans from Colombia to the UK by sail cargo, cutting CO₂ emissions by up to 97% while preserving flavour integrity.
